The NASD (National Association of Skill Development) Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held on 7 October 2026 to recognise the successful completion of the training programme by five tailoring students. The students completed training in tailoring, communicative English and life skills, gaining practical knowledge and essential skills to enhance their confidence, employability and self-reliance. As part of the certification process, both theory and practical examinations were conducted to assess the students’ knowledge, technical skills and learning outcomes. All five students achieved outstanding results and received their certificates from Sr. Mary Josephine Isabella, Director, ARUWYE.
The successful completion of the programme marks an important milestone in the students’ journey towards economic independence and sustainable livelihoods. This initiative reflects ARUWYE’s commitment to empowering women through skill development and creating opportunities for a better future.
