On 16 October 2026, ARUWYE participated in the ASRHiE (Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health in Emergencies) Workshop organised by the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Chennai Branch, at YWCA, Chennai. The workshop focused on addressing adolescents’ sexual and reproductive health needs during humanitarian emergencies, highlighting the importance of adolescent-friendly healthcare services, safeguarding, inclusion, access to accurate information, and emotional support. It also emphasised strengthening coordination among organisations and service providers to ensure timely access to essential healthcare, protection, and referral services. The knowledge gained will support ARUWYE in enhancing its health awareness, safeguarding, and referral initiatives for children, adolescents, women, and vulnerable communities.
