ARUWYE organised a Blood Donation Camp on 13 August 2026 in collaboration with Vijaya Group of Hospitals, Vadapalani, to promote voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about the importance of donating blood to save lives. The camp was conducted under the guidance and support of Dr. Thirumagal and her medical team from Vijaya Group of Hospitals, Vadapalani, who ensured that the entire process was carried out safely, systematically, and hygienically. Sr. Mary Josephine Isabella, Director of ARUWYE, encouraged the staff and participants to actively participate in this noble initiative and highlighted the importance of compassion, social responsibility, and community service. The ARUWYE staff enthusiastically participated in the camp and came forward to donate blood, demonstrating their commitment to supporting people in need during medical emergencies, surgeries, accidents, and other critical situations.
The medical team conducted the necessary health screening and provided proper guidance and post-donation care to all eligible donors. The camp created a positive spirit of generosity and service among the ARUWYE team and successfully strengthened awareness about voluntary blood donation.
