My name is Dharshini, and I am studying in Class 6. My father is a daily-wage labourer, and my mother is a homemaker. Due to my family’s financial situation, I cannot afford to attend paid tuition classes. Since my parents are not educated, I also do not have anyone at home to clarify my doubts or support me with my studies.
In this situation, I joined the free evening classes conducted by ARUWYE. The teachers here explain lessons in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, which has helped me improve my academic performance. As a result, I secured 3rd rank in my half-yearly examinations.
Along with academic support, we are also provided with social awareness through various awareness sessions. The teachers identify our talents, encourage us to develop our skills, and motivate us to participate in competitions and other activities. We are also given opportunities to take part in activities that support our mental and physical well-being. Weekly sports activities help us stay active, healthy, and confident.
This centre has been a great support in my life. It is helping me learn, grow, and build my future with confidence and hope. I am truly grateful to ARUWYE for providing me with this valuable opportunity.
ARUWYE gave me a place to learn, the confidence to grow and the hope to dream bigger
