The Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB), Division V, organised a Youth Clubs Capacity Building Training on 31 October 2026 under the theme “Youth Empowerment Through Youth Clubs.” The programme focused on strengthening young people’s entrepreneurial, employability, leadership and social responsibility skills. Dr. Selvi Nithya S., Community Officer, TNUHDB, delivered the welcome address. The sessions were facilitated by Dr. N.A. Arivukkarasi on entrepreneurial and employability skills, Dr. J.M. Arul Kamaraj on social inclusion, child protection and women empowerment, and Dr. J. Arul Suresh on civic responsibility, leadership and life skills. Tmt. Jyothi Priya, Manager, ARUWYE, presented the ARUWYE Job Readiness Programme, highlighting its contribution to youth empowerment and employability. Mrs. Mary Kamala, Women Coordinator, ARUWYE, also participated in the programme. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony recognising the participants, followed by feedback, a valedictory session and vote of thanks.
