A Tailoring Training Programme was completed for 20 women at East Namacheevayapuram. The training equipped the participants with practical skills in Chudi and blouse drafting, cutting and stitching. On 3 September 2026, a certificate distribution programme was organised to recognise their successful completion of the training. Sr. Isabella, Director, ARUWYE participated in the programme and distributed the certificates.
The participants also displayed their completed tailoring work through an exhibition and shared their experiences and learning. The programme contributed to strengthening their technical skills and confidence while enhancing their potential for self employment and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
