Child Sponsorship

Sponsor a child today and become a part of their story of hope, growth, and transformation.

At ARUWYE, our Child Sponsorship Program is dedicated to giving children the chance to dream bigger and achieve more. We believe education is the foundation for a brighter future not just for a child, but for their family, community, and the nation as a whole.

When you sponsor a child, you are not just providing financial support. You are helping build a path toward better education, healthcare, and life opportunities. With a monthly contribution of just ₹1000, you can empower a child to grow with dignity and confidence.

Your sponsorship creates a bond that goes beyond giving it’s about becoming a companion in a child’s journey. Sponsors can connect with their sponsored child through letters, updates, and even personal visits, making the experience truly meaningful.

Justification

Justification

The requested support of 15 laptops for youth, 15 sewing machines and 10 power machines for women, and educational materials for 1,500 children in Evening Study Centres across 9 districts of Tamil Nadu is essential to address the interconnected challenges of education, unemployment, and poverty in marginalized communities. Many youth lack access to digital devices and computer training, limiting their ability to pursue higher education, apply for jobs, or develop market-relevant skills. Providing laptops will bridge the digital divide and enhance employability. Similarly, equipping women with sewing and power machines will strengthen vocational training initiatives, enabling them to generate sustainable income, support their families, and move towards financial independence.

At the same time, educational materials for 1,500 children will significantly improve learning outcomes, reinforce literacy and STEM education, and reduce school dropout rates among first-generation learners. Children from daily wage and vulnerable families often struggle due to lack of basic study resources, which affects their academic performance and confidence. By integrating digital empowerment for youth, livelihood support for women, and academic reinforcement for children, this initiative ensures holistic community development and long-term socio-economic transformation across the targeted districts.

High-quality equipment is essential to provide effective training. Our programs cater to underprivileged youth and women in the surrounding areas. Currently, the available computers are outdated and often break down, creating disruptions in training. New systems will allow us to offer consistent and skill-based learning.

Women undergoing tailoring courses have a strong desire to become self-reliant by starting small businesses. Providing power sewing machines will not only enhance their learning but also help them earn income by taking up stitching orders from the community.

In addition, preparing training materials, maintaining sponsorship records, documentation, photocopying, scanning, and photography are regular requirements in our office. Having our own camera and multifunctional printer will reduce external costs, enabling us to channel more resources directly toward children and community programs.

Our office computers are also outdated and in constant need of repair. Procuring new computers, along with the required accessories, will significantly improve efficiency in administration and project management.

Campaign for a Transformative Era in Girl Education

The inspiring story of Malala Yousafzai, the young Pakistani girl who addressed world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, continues to remind us of the values needed in life:

  • Speak the truth – and voices will rise in support.

  • Stand for justice – and many will join in the fight.

  • Overcome fear – and discover new courage, strength, and hope.

  • Hold on to dreams – even in times of difficulty and despair.

  • Forgive – even those who bring harm and destruction.
