At the beginning of the new academic year, ARUWYE organised a School Bag Distribution Programme across its Evening Study Centres in Salem, Erode, Tiruvallur, Nandhambakkam, and Chennai to provide essential educational resources to children from underprivileged families. The initiative, led by Sr. Mary Josephine Isabella, Director of ARUWYE, aimed to reduce the financial burden on families while encouraging uninterrupted education. The programme was inaugurated by Sr. Isabella, who interacted with the children and inspired them to value education, attend school regularly, study diligently, and make responsible use of the opportunities and resources provided for their growth. A special highlight of the programme was the participation of Mr. Dinesh, a generous donor supporting ARUWYE’s Chennai Study Centres, who visited the event with his daughter and personally distributed school bags to the children. During the programme, Mr. Dinesh shared inspiring life experiences and motivated the students to work hard, remain focused on their goals, and pursue their dreams with determination. The distribution programme brought immense joy and renewed confidence to the children, filling them with enthusiasm for the new academic year, while parents expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the timely support in meeting their children’s educational needs.
