Sr. Mary Josephine Isabella, Director, and Mrs. Jyothi Priya, Project Manager, represented ARUWYE at the National Development Forum Coordinators’ Meeting held from 1st to 3rd July 2026 in Kolkata. The three-day meeting brought together Coordinators from the seven Provinces to review the previous year’s programme implementation, analyse survey findings, share best practices, discuss challenges, and develop strategic plans for the upcoming year. Key deliberations focused on annual action plans, monitoring mechanisms, future project proposals, sustainable development strategies, and strengthening collaboration among the Provinces to enhance programme quality and community impact. A special highlight of the meeting was a session on “Sustainability and Sustainable Practices for Development Offices” facilitated by Sr. Mary Josephine Isabella, who shared practical approaches to institutional sustainability, resource management, and community ownership. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to promoting inclusive, sustainable, and community-centred development through effective planning, continuous monitoring, stronger partnerships, and collaborative learning. ARUWYE’s active participation provided an opportunity to showcase its best practices while gaining valuable insights to strengthen future programme planning and implementation.
