Our learners had an enriching Industrial Exposure Visit to Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, gaining valuable real-world insights into the healthcare sector and organisational functioning. The visit began with an engaging orientation by the HR team, who introduced the hospital’s vision, operations, and commitment to quality eye care. Learners explored various departments including patient care, administration, HR, clinical services, and laboratory support, understanding how teamwork ensures efficient service delivery.
The session also highlighted workplace expectations, HR policies, and the importance of professionalism, discipline, and teamwork. Learners were guided on employment opportunities, recruitment processes, and the skills required to build a successful career in the healthcare industry. The hospital’s CSR initiatives, including eye camps and community outreach programs, showcased their dedication to social impact and public health.
A key highlight of the visit was the inspiring interaction with Ms. Madhumitha, a placed learner from our parallel batch, who started as a receptionist and was promoted to a Lab-based role within a month. Her journey and the positive feedback shared by the HR team motivated our learners to stay focused and committed to their goals. Overall, the visit was a highly informative and motivating experience, helping learners connect classroom learning with real-world applications and inspiring them to explore opportunities in the growing healthcare sector.
